A home for the table you already run
What happens on the other side of the veil.
The Veil is a campaign manager and virtual tabletop built for one table at a time — encounters, character sheets, and a battle map that updates for every player the instant you move a token, no refresh, no lag between what you see and what they do.
What's already built
Everything a session actually needs
No plugins, no separate token shop, no paywall on your own homebrew. Built and used for a real weekly game.
A difficulty calculator that's actually right
Drop in monsters from the full SRD or your own homebrew, and watch the DMG's XP thresholds update live as you build — trivial, easy, medium, hard, deadly, calculated for your exact party.
Tokens that move for everyone at once
A real canvas map with grid-snap dragging, synced over a live connection — when you move a token, every player's screen updates in the time it takes to blink, not the next page load.
The full sheet, not a summary
Stats, saves, all eighteen skills, spell slots, attacks, inventory with real carry-capacity math, death saves — the sheet your players actually reference mid-fight.
Your monsters belong in the builder too
Stat out a creature once and it slots into the encounter builder exactly like an SRD entry — same difficulty math, same initiative tracking, same everything.
Ask for a check without leaving the table
Send a player a specific roll — a Perception check, a saving throw — and watch it come back computed and logged, not shouted across the table and forgotten.
Bring your Roll20 sheet with you
Already have a character built somewhere else? Upload the PDF and it prefills your sheet here — abilities, attacks, equipment — so you're not retyping a level-7 fighter from scratch.
The thin part of the veil
The gap between DM and player closes to nothing
Most virtual tabletops make you refresh, or poll, or wait. The Veil keeps a live connection open to every player at the table — when initiative rolls, when HP changes, when a token moves — the update reaches their screen while your hand is still on the mouse.
That's the whole idea behind the name.A good session doesn't feel like software between you and your players. It should feel almost like nothing is there at all.

Create your campaign, build your first encounter from the SRD, and generate one reusable link for every player at your table to join and build their own character.

Your DM sent you a link. Open it, sign in, and either build your character from scratch or import one from a Roll20 sheet you already have.
